sameAs

Last month we held our first sameAs - a new meetup in London that aims to bring together curious folks for a night of stimulating conversation in science, technology, and beyond. The speakers came from all walks of life, from citizen science and astronomy, to authors and digital entrepreneurs. The night's conversation was centered on "the Web", and many thanks for all who joined us.

This month, our theme is Sound. We have four top-notch folks set to take us on an audio adventure, from the world of innovative sound composition and 3-D audio, to computational musicology and the sound of the sun. Each are linked by their common interest in sound and how we can manipulate, capture, transform and analyse it:
