Serendipity

An evening about the unexpected.

When?

Monday 8th August
7pm

How much?

Free

This month's sameAs will focus on the topic "serendipity" in the digital age, highlighting some of the top tool developers and thinkers dedicated to showing how the Web affects our chance encounters, conversations, how we interact with technology.

We're thrilled to welcome the following leading (all female!) technologists:

  • Natalie Downe

Co-founder of Lanyrd, a social event directory that's revolutionising the way we come together around conferences and meetups
  • Aleks Krotoski

Academic and journalist, studying technology and interactivity. Co-conspirator on "The Serendipity Engine", which we'll hear more about.
  • Kat Jungnickel

Research fellow at the University of East London, other co-conspirator on "The Serendipity Engine"

In true sameAs spirit, we're bringing together a diverse set of friends and experts to show the breadth of the subject. All are welcome.

See who else is attending over at Lanyrd, or photos from previous events.

This event was originally scheduled for Monday 25th July, but is now taking place on Monday 8th August.
